Land Restoration: Carbon Farming, Roadside Vegetation, & Mining Remediation

Renergi can process a number of different biomass and waste feedstocks to formulate various grades of biochar ranging in characteristics and applications. Renergi has formulated an affordable and effective biochar ideal for revitalising even the most baron and depleted soil.

Restore Soil & Sequester Carbon...

Renergi has specially formulated an affordable biochar that is the perfect companion for building soil fertility, improving water retention/management, controlling erosion, reducing the need for chemical fertilisers, stablising pH, and absorbing/immobilising pollutants such as heavy metals.

Plus, it helps mitigate climate change by removing atmospheric carbon by stably storing it in the soil for over a thousand years, therefore reducing the environmental impact and increasing your project’s sustainability credentials.

Roadside Vegetation Landscaping

This biochar is a great amendment for roadside vegetation/landscaping projects where soils are either sandy, contaminated, salt-affected, acidic, lacking carbon, or generally poor quality. The addition of biochar will not only reduce the carbon footprint of any given project but will be a great contribution to reducing ongoing operational costs.

Carbon Farming/Sequestration

This biochar is also a great option for revitalising poor soil on worn-out or contaminated farmland that is not currently suitable for productive farming and, in the meantime, can be used for Carbon Farming where there is no immediate intention to grow and harvest a productive crop. Whilst our highest-grade agricultural biochar is also perfectly suitable, this specific biochar is more cost effective for these types of applications.

Minesite Remediation

This biochar is ideal for remediating mine sites with its unique structure offering a multifaceted approach to bringing life back to the soil. It captures and immobilises heavy metals, improves soil structure, supports microbial and plant growth, and prevents further contamination through erosion control and water management. Ultimately, this biochar offers an eco-friendly and cost-effective solution for addressing the environmental challenges posed by mining.
