Renergi is an Australian waste-to-energy and carbon direct removal technology company based in Collie, Western Australia. Renergi has invented a range of innovative cleantech solutions protected under a family of international patents. We have built and are in the final stages of commissioning our first commercial-scale project for one of these technologies, our ‘Grinding Pyrolysis’.
The plant is already converting waste into high-performance biochar, pyroligneous acid (wood vinegar), and bio-oil, for agriculture, construction, and carbon sequestration applications, and beyond.
Our Collie facility demonstrates how our technology will revolutionise waste management; able to process a wide variety of wastes – from forestry, plantation, agriculture residues, FOGO, and municipal solid waste (household rubbish) – into renewable and precision-engineered products that deliver sustainable and measurable solutions to agriculture and commercial growers, landscaping and the home garden, shire/council works and grounds, road and concrete based construction and the built environment, land restoration and mine remediation, and a host of other applications.

Every tonne of Renergi biochar applied to soil permanently sequesters over two tonnes of CO₂ equivalent — removing it from the atmosphere for centuries. Our process displaces incineration and landfill, closes organic waste loops, and generates verified carbon credits through the voluntary carbon market.
We are preliminarily certified with Puro.Earth and actively engaged with carbon credit marketplaces, brokers, and buyers.
